I am married and have one son on the way. I’ve been been involved in competitive sports all my life both as an athlete and as a coach. I ran cross country and track throughout middle and high school but battled many injuries. During my senior cross country season, I was diagnosed with 4 stress fractures and was unable to complete the season. After high school I continued running, but my old injuries constantly plagued me. I moved to Wyoming in 2013 and started CrossFit at the advice of a friend. I loved the high intensity, challenges, and community of CrossFit. I met my husband at the box during my first month!
Since I started, none of my old injuries have bothered me. CrossFit has strengthened my weaknesses and kept me pain free when I run. I’ve also been able to continue working out during my pregnancy. No matter what your fitness level, when you come to CrossFit you will improve your strength and endurance, learn something new, and meet some of the most friendly people!
