I’ve always enjoyed being active. I played basketball and ran track in high school. I was a sprinter and thought anyone who ran over a 400 was crazy. After having kids and dealing with unwanted weight I started running long distance. I have run 4 marathons, numerous ½ marathons, and other races. I loved the feeling I got when running, experiencing that runners high that everyone talked about.
I first started CrossFit looking to feel stronger, though I loved running I didn’t feel strong. After doing CrossFit for a short time I was hooked because of how strong and confident I felt (and I didn’t have to run for 3 hours a day!). I enjoy spending time with my family camping, fishing ,hunting, hiking and spending time at the lake.
